From January of 2007 to August of 2008 I worked at the National Science Foundation as a Video Production Specialist.

Duties: Producing, shooting, and editing various lectures, live events, and studio shows for the NSF’s Studio 8, a newly launched four camera HD (DVC Pro HD) studio with live switcher (Broadcast Pix Slate G1000) and green screen (Chromatte) capabilities. Streaming multi-site media briefings (with live phone link for reporters) using Digital Rapids SteamZ. Field switching with the Newtek Tricaster Pro. Involved with all aspects of production; scripting, production scheduling, shooting, editing, packaging, and delivering. Current distribution partnerships with the Research ChannelUS News and World Reports, and Discover magazine.
